Privacy Policy

General
When you browse my Site, I also automatically receive traffic data registered by the hosting servers, cookies that may share some personal data and your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address. I also use information offered by other external services of traffic analysis, such as Google Analytics.

Cookies
This site uses cookies – small text files that are placed on your machine to help the site provide a better user experience. In general, cookies are used to retain user preferences, store information for things like shopping carts, and provide anonymised tracking data to third party applications like Google Analytics. As a rule, cookies will make your browsing experience better. However, you may prefer to disable cookies on this site and on others. The most effective way to do this is to disable cookies in your browser. I suggest consulting the Help section of your browser or taking a look at the About Cookies website which offers guidance for all modern browsers

Site visitation tracking, Google Analytics
Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics (GA) to track user interaction. I use this data to determine the number of people using my site, to better understand how they find and use my web pages and to see their journey through the website.

Although GA records data such as your geographical location, device, internet browser and operating system, none of this information personally identifies you to me. GA also records your computer’s IP address which could be used to personally identify you but Google do not grant me access to this. I consider Google to be a third party data processor (see section 6.0 below).
GA makes use of cookies, details of which can be found on Google’s developer guides. FYI my website uses the analytics.js implementation of GA.
Disabling cookies on your internet browser will stop GA from tracking any part of your visit to pages within this website.

Contact forms and email links
Should you choose to contact ne using the contact form on my Contact us page or an email link, none of the data that you supply will be stored by this website or passed to / be processed by any of the third party data processors. Instead the data will be collated into an email and sent to me over the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP). My providers’ SMTP servers are protected by TLS (sometimes known as SSL) meaning that the email content is encrypted before being sent across the internet. The email content is then decrypted by my local computers and devices. However, not all mail servers are secured in such a way. Therefore, I would suggest that you always consider email as an insecure medium and not include personal, confidential or otherwise sensitive information within an email.

Third-party disclosure
As a rule, I will not sell, trade or otherwise transfer any personal data about its users to third parties without explicit consent from the users.
This does not include:
• other parties who assist me in operating my website, conducting my business (including lawyers and accountants) or serving my users.
• authors whose products I sell.
• business partners or prospective business partners, in operations such as sale, acquisition, merger of my assets.
All those parties agree to keep this information confidential and to their treatment according to the laws and rules on personal data protection.

I may also release information when it’s release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce my site policies, or protect my or others’ rights, property or safety.

However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other similar uses.

Third-party links
I may include or offer third-party services on my website. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. I therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, I seek to protect the integrity of my site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

Your personal data rights
Data subjects have the right to access to data, right to rectification, right to blocking their data under certain circumstances. Data subjects also have the right to object to personal data processing and to request the deletion of the collected personal data if their use is unlawful. For exercising these rights, you may send a written request, dated and signed, to me.

Changes to my privacy-police
This privacy policy may change from time to time inline with legislation or industry developments. I will not explicitly inform my clients or website users of these changes. Instead, I recommend that you check this page occasionally for any policy changes. Specific policy changes and updates are mentioned in the change log below.
